We recognize that all of our patients are unique and deserve to receive orthodontic care that reflects their individual needs. Our experienced and talented team is committed to working with you and your family to create a comfortable, stress-free, and rewarding orthodontic experience every time you visit our practice. We are pleased to welcome you and your family, and we look forward to working with you.
I graduated from Bates Technical College Dental Assistant program in 1986 and am recognized by the American Association of Orthodontists as a Specialized Orthodontic Assistant. In 2008, I returned to the business side of dentistry as insurance coordinator and scheduling coordinator, and now as the office manager. Since I’ve been here for so long, I’ve started to see many parents who were previous orthodontic patients bringing their kids in for treatment. It’s fun catching up with them and hearing about how they want the same level of care and commitment they experienced in our office for their own children.
My husband and I have been married for more than 25 years; we spend lots of time outdoors: camping, hiking with our dogs, and traveling around the Pacific Northwest. I’m an avid cyclist and obstacle/mud runner. My husband calls me a social butterfly and says I seem to know half the town as a result!
I began my career as a dental assistant in 2004 and worked in general dentistry for several years before decided that orthodontics was my calling. I became a part of the PNO team in 2007, and have found it very rewarding to transform our patients’ lives through their smiles. Everyone here is so fun and outgoing—they’re like my second family!
When I’m not at work, I love spending time outdoors and camping with my husband and our daughter who is the joy of our lives. My second love in life is football—I love my Seahawks! I look forward to football season every year and we are raising our daughter to love the game as well!
Lead Orthodontic Assistant
I am responsible for training new team members, translating in Spanish, and working side-by-side with Dr. Sundberg to provide excellent patient care. I love being a part of making our patients smile! It’s so rewarding to help change their lives by giving them a smile that will last a lifetime!
I am originally from Sunny San Diego—a true Cali girl! I moved to Washington with my husband in 2008. In 2013 we had our first little blessing, our first son and the joy of our lives. A new addition joined our family in 2015—a German shepherd. I enjoy spending time with my family and close friends, watching football and soccer, and taking bike rides with my son.
I joined the team here at Pacific Northwest Orthodontics in October of 2012 with an extensive background of working with children. It's my goal to educate patients on their treatment and be their voice to ensure that their needs are being met. I work hard to find a way for all patients to have the amazing smile they’ve always wanted.
I have two children, both boys and I have been married to my high school sweetheart for over 20 years. We have one dog and we all love to go camping. I love to scrap book and just spend quality time with my family.
As our scheduling coordinator, I handle many facets of the front office from scheduling appointments and coordinating referrals to insurance verifications and being a direct liaison for patients and doctor. Another aspect of my job is coordinating events and community involvement for our practice. My career in dentistry began more than 20 years ago as a clinical chairside assistant, and I believe that experience gives me an extra edge as a scheduling coordinator because I have an understanding of the clinical aspects of dentistry. Here at Pacific Northwest Orthodontics, we take smiles seriously, and believe in giving back to others as well. I love to see that happy smile on our patients’ faces when they have seen their transformation at the end of treatment.
When I am not spending time with my family, I am giving back to my community through many outreach projects. I also enjoy traveling.
