We are interested in making all our patients feel right at home! Our staff is trained to provide energetic and fun-loving service to each patient. Each member of our treatment team is a registered dental assistant, and our office staff has many years of experience providing patients with the highest level of care. We regularly attend continuing education courses and seminars.

Office Manager
Our social butterfly who seems to know everyone! She has lived in Tacoma almost her entire life and is active in several local non-profit associations. She is our resident hockey mom and enjoys camping and participating in those crazy mud runs - she has participated in several 10k's and has begun training for her first "Tough Mudder". Talk with her for a few minutes and chances are you will find a connection. Laura began her career as a dental assistant in 1986, has been part of the team at Pacific Northwest Orthodontics since 2000.
Jody
Scheduling Coordinator
When Jody enters a room the whole place lights up! Her quick wit can make you chuckle even on a grumpy day. She began as a dental assistant in 2004 and decided orthodontics was her calling. The team at Pacific Northwest Orthodontics quickly snatched her up and you'll be glad we did. In her spare time she enjoys sewing, crafting and spending time with her husband, daughter, friends and family. You may even spot them at local craft fairs and bazaars. We can almost guarantee that when you see us, Jody's smile and wit will have you "in stitches" for the rest of the day!
Jennifer
Insurance Coordinator
Some of our patients might remember Jennifer, who worked here in 1999, and has rejoined our team after returning to the Tacoma area. She comes to us with many years of experience in general dentistry and orthodontics. Jennifer is able to jump into different situations in the office as needed, lab work, patient care and has recently started the transition to our front office as our Insurance Coordinator.

If you had to describe her in one word, it would be hard to decide between enthusiasm or energy! She has been enthusiastic about orthodontics since dental assisting school and part of our team since 2002. Her enthusiasm has only increased since then, and it reverberates throughout our office. She will amaze you. As a military wife and a working mom who likes to stay fit, her energy level is comparable to the Energizer Bunny. When you meet her you just want to find ways to capture just a fraction her energy and enthusiasm to take a piece of it home with you.
Melissa
Patient Care Coordinator
Melissa joined our team in 2011. We couldn't decide if we were going to upload her complete bio in English, Spanish or a combination of both since she is fluent in both languages. Of course we have to catch her because she is always on the run, flitting and flying between here and California. Yes, she is a California girl at heart but loves spending time with her husband exploring all the activities that Washington offers.
Samantha
Patient Care Coordinator
Samantha hails from Yelm, and is an Army Veteran. After her time serving our great country, she married her husband and they have a beautiful little girl that keeps Samantha busy when she isn't working. While attending Clover Park Technical College she had the opportunity to do an orthodontic externship where she quickly realized that Orthodontics was her calling. Her quick smile and funny stories entertain our patients and our staff.

Patient Care Coordinator
Jessie joined our team here at Pacific Northwest Orthodontics in October of 2012. she comes to us with an extensive background of working with children. Prior to being in the dental field, she was a photographer. She already has many requests from our younger patients, who love her gentle touch and her uncanny ability to connect with kids with special needs. She is married to the love of her life and they have two amazing sons!
